I have been using Walgreens pharmacy for years. I pick my medication up or if my medication is approved I also us thier delivery services.

The pharmacist is very much incompetent. I had issues with my prescription. I called and they said they’re waiting for my doctor to respond. After several phone calls with my doc, my doc went to the pharmacy directly to find out he had given them all info but the pharmacist didn’t scroll the whole page down to see the information. Wasting everybody’s time! This is also not the first time my family has issues with them.

The worst pharmacy I have ever worked with, the unprofessionalism baffles me. My 5 year old son currently has pneumonia and needs Antibiotics, I had to wait till they opened at 10am to go get his medication…. I called a head of time because I currently am at work, but got approval to run and pick up his medication….. I’m glad someone had the decency to know that this is urgent! They told me they would have it ready in 30min, I wasn’t going to call again to confirm and definitely shouldn’t have to if they give me a time frame. I left and headed that way after 40min, waited behind a truck for 15 minutes…. So that gave them 55min to get the prescription ready KNOWING I was going to be on the way!!!! Finally get to the drive through window for a man to tell me they just printed his prescription and it will be about 30 minutes??? Are you going to pay me for the time I’m taking off the clock at work? No, so I had to return to work and have to wait till after work to get the prescription now….. but when I mentioned how I had called ahead of time and they had told me thirty minutes… all he could say is have a great day? With a little spicy attitude!!!! I’m in customer service as well, you should have apologized and maybe seen if there was any way you could put a rush on it since your customer called ahead of time and it’s important medication!!!! You all need to work on your time management skills, customer service skills, and so so so much more after seeing all of the other reviews!!!!! I had an issue with y’all one time before, but have you grace! I will not give you grace this time, and will not be a returning customer once I do get my medication for my son! What a shame, you do not pay us for our gas or time!!! So if y'all say you will have it ready at a specific time, HAVE IT READY!!!!

This particular Walgreens pharmacy has delivered the wrong quantity for my prescription two separate times for two different medications. And each time, the pharmacy refused to fulfill the correct quantity that they admittedly fulfilled short of the prescribed quantity. I've had to navigate automated phone calls from the pharmacy, my insurance, and my medical team just to recieve what I had already paid for. Avoid this pharmacy and choose one that can count to double digits.

My urgent care doctor sent my prescription here, and it was ready almost immediately (I called ahead right after the doctor sent it). I came to pick it up, and the store was clean, seemingly well-stocked, and fairly empty for a Friday evening. I walked up to the pharmacy counter, and immediately one of the pharmacy Techs yells out that she'll be right with me. Within 2 minutes, she was helping me, asking me if I wanted to update my insurance information, which I am SO glad she asked. I assumed the UC doctor would send it over. Walgreens was going to charge me $41 for the prescription, but the Tech thought that was a little high, so after putting my new insurance info in, it was only $12. Bless her for asking the right questions and not assuming I know anything (I almost never go to the doctor/get medication). The whole process was smooth, and the Tech was super friendly. Honestly, I'm not sure why this place is so poorly rated. My experience was great.
