GoogleI had no idea there were so many great wineries in Livermore. Way less crowded than going to Napa. We had a very nice experience wine tasting. We made a reservation ahead of time and I’m so glad we did. The tasting room was busy! There was also a wedding rehearsal going on as well as a couple of bus loads of visitors. Once we were seated, our server greeted us soon after. It seemed like she made a false assumption about us, so we decided to have a bit of harmless fun throughout our tasting. She handled it well. 👌🏾 The wines we sampled were good. I don’t think any of us were completely WOWed by any particular wine, but we enjoyed them enough. Since we had lunch before arriving, we didn’t order cheese boards or any food. Overall, we had a nice and relaxing evening. We left with five bottles of wine by joining the wine club.

GoogleWe opted for 2 Nth Degree Red Flight , and 1 Tasting Flight and 1 Cheese and Charcuterie at Wente. The location and winery grounds are amazing. However the service , seating and our server was not good and that left a sour taste (no pun intended) . We requested to be seated at an empty table in the middle , but the waitress gave some false reason why we can't use that table. So got seated at the rear. Then some other group was seated in the same table we had requested few minutes ago. and they were served much earlier than our flight. We noticed this and were not happy with our service. The wines were good and charcuterie cheese complemented them fine. However the overall experience was not good.

GoogleI attended an event at The Stampede in Livermore where your winery was hosting a wine tasting. I went up to the table as a genuinely interested potential customer. I am 25 years old and I enjoy wine tasting, Napa trips, and exploring local wineries, so I was excited to learn more. The staff member working the table was immediately standoffish. When I asked basic questions about your winery and the wine being poured, she gave short, dismissive answers and showed no interest in engaging. When I handed her my ID, she stared at it in silence for an unusually long time even though it clearly states that I am over 21. She then questioned why it was still vertical. The reason is simply that it was issued to me right before I turned 21. This ID has been accepted without issue at bars, wineries, airports, and international venues. What made the interaction more uncomfortable is that after I walked away, I saw her whisper to her coworkers and laugh. I cannot say with certainty what they were talking about, but combined with how differently I saw her treat other customers that night, it made me feel singled out. I am an Asian woman in a predominantly non Asian area and I am also aware that I look younger than I am. I do not know if the treatment I received was racial bias, age bias, or something else entirely, but the difference in how she interacted with other people was noticeable. I am not trying to get anyone in trouble, but as a customer who was genuinely considering your winery, the experience left a very negative impression. This type of public facing role requires basic customer service skills, familiarity with state ID formats, and the ability to treat all guests with respect. I strongly encourage better training for staff who represent your brand at events, because this interaction discouraged me from wanting to try or purchase your wines in the future.

GoogleWe had the most incredible experience celebrating my and my boyfriend’s 21st birthday at Wente, and I truly can’t say enough good things about the entire team. From the planning process to the day of the event, everything was seamless, thoughtful, and beautifully executed. Cheryl was amazing to work with, and the entire Wente team made us feel so taken care of. The attention to detail did not go unnoticed. The food was outstanding — huge thank you to Dominique for the sandwiches and fruit. Everything was so fresh, delicious, and perfectly prepared. Our guests absolutely loved it. Nancy was absolutely wonderful. She was warm, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly. Everyone in our group loved her, and she truly added to how special the day felt. Overall, this was such a memorable experience, and we’re so grateful for how special the Wente team made our birthday weekend. We will cherish these memories for a long time and would highly recommend Wente to anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion. Thank you again for everything! — Le’Asia

GoogleAlthough the following happened, I appreciate the manager contacting us and providing a refund. Which I really appreciate. Booked this place for my bridal shower. Good vibes but: -They only gave us 4 of the 5 glasses. When I asked the server TWICE about our last glass and he said that was the last one. -They said we were being too loud because they sat a couple with a baby next to us. When we specifically told them we were there for a celebration.
