Today was my second time getting a massage here. It was wonderful! From the robes to the lemon water, it's very relaxing. After our massages my trio grabbed a table by the pool and had snacks and bubbles. Highly recommend!!

This is a perfect little hidden gem for a quiet getaway but still close enough near home. Livermore downtown is 10 minutes away and has great spots for eating out etc and then you can come back to this spot which feels like you’re so far away from civilisation in quiet surroundings and cute rooms/suites. I’ve tried both a room and a suite and they’re very cute and quaint. The property itself is so pretty and staff are excellent. We enjoy the breakfast always. The spa and all the staff there are amazing too. Good treatments, a little on the pricey side but they do provide excellent service and treatments so feels worth it to me. We keep going back and will continue to do so for a quick getaway which feels like you’re in a different world altogether.

My husband Garrett and I held our wedding weekend at the Purple Orchid in July 2025 and we cannot say enough about how incredible our experience was! Owners Rhiannon and Derek were so personable and helpful throughout our entire wedding planning experience. The day after our wedding, we forgot our leftover cake at the venue, and Rhiannon was kind enough to drive 35 miles to our house in Walnut Creek to bring it to us (thank you, Rhiannon!!! 🙏🏻❤️). We were blown away by the attention to detail and dedication to making our wedding weekend an experience we will always cherish. We even received a thoughtful Christmas gift from the Purple Orchid to celebrate our first holiday season as a married couple - such a thoughtful gesture that touched our hearts! Our wedding coordinator Taylor was such a pleasure to work with from our very first introduction to our wedding day, always meeting us with the warmest welcome and kind demeanor, while super organized and professional. We knew we were in good hands with Taylor helping us curate the wedding of our dreams. As soon as we arrived for our wedding weekend, Taylor was there with the most calm and reassuring spirit, easing any worries we had about our big day. Having our close family members and wedding party able to stay on-site with us made all wedding logistics so much easier, from hosting our rehearsal dinner by the pool, to getting ready the morning-of in the bridal and groomsmen suites. The entire weekend was so much more intimate and special. All the rooms were beautiful and the staff was there to help with anything we needed. Our wedding day itself was so incredibly beautiful! So many of our wedding guests still compliment us on what a wonderful time they had, and that it was the best wedding they’d ever been to. Thank you to Rhiannon, Derek, Taylor, and the entire Purple Orchid team for making our wedding weekend a dream come true! ❤️

Absolutely wonderful, everything clean, well kept, plenty of space and a price worth it all. The decor, was very nice and the scenery-open air - amazing and tranquil. My sorority sister and I met up to celebrate and relax. The innkeepers were wonderful - and sooooo accommodating. My only issue- trying to figure out how to warm the room with the fireplace and being cold- once I warmed up -it didn’t take long for me to fall asleep in the comfy bed. I found the instructions the next morning while cleaning.. other than that it was great!!!

I had the most relaxing and refreshing day at The Purple Orchid. I came for a massage and ended up spending the whole day by the pool with my friends, sipping mimosas and enjoying the sunshine. Breakfast and lunch were both served to us while we lounged which made the experience feel even more luxurious. We also spent time in the hot tub which was the perfect way to unwind. The staff was attentive, the atmosphere was peaceful, and everything felt so calm and rejuvenating. Such a perfect spa day, I can’t wait to go back!!!
