GoogleWe couldn’t be happier with our pool remodel, completed by Matt Vieira, owner and operator of Pristine Pools, Inc., in the fall of 2024. After interviewing all the major pool remodel companies in the area, we chose Pristine Pools—and we’re so glad we did. From the start, Matt impressed us with his clear communication, attention to detail, and organization. That professionalism carried through every phase of the project. Matt was hands-on throughout the entire remodel. He was even on-site during the new gunite application (see photo) to ensure proper coverage—something we rarely saw with other companies. He also provided expert guidance in helping us select the tile and coping colors, striking a balance between aesthetics and budget. When issues came up during demo, Matt never cut corners. In fact, he uncovered structural concerns on two sides of the pool, which he addressed by opening them up to the dirt and reinforcing them with new rebar. His team was just as meticulous—especially when laying out the new plumbing system. The result? An incredibly efficient setup. Our spa now heats in just 25 minutes—half the time it used to take—and the pool heats in just a few hours. Matt also recommended upgraded lighting, which we absolutely love. And the new Wet Edge finish—Sapphire Treasure—looks stunning both day and night. We’re thrilled with how everything turned out and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Pristine Pools. If you're considering a pool remodel, give Matt a call. You won’t be disappointed.

GooglePristine Pools should be a 5 star rating!!!! My experience for the last 5 years has been amazing. They take such great care of our pool. It always looks beautiful. They are quick to repair whenever necessary. They have always been very honest , they are not trying to take money out of your wallet. They always want what is best for the customer and pool. I know we can't make everyone happy but they sure go out of their way to try.

GoogleCalled this location to get some quotes and had a bunch of questions about service and spoke with a nice man that’s the manager, over the phone. He was really quick to schedule an evaluation and was able to come by and inspect my pool and give me recommendations. I ended up not going for them for now, definitely will call them again once it’s closer to summer time. Thank you for the patience and understanding!

GoogleI chose Pristine Pools after speaking directly with the manager, Aaron, who clearly explained their “green-to-clean” service. The quoted range was $750–$850, based on 4–5 visits. I was told that if the job was completed in 4 visits, the cost would be $750, and only $850 if a 5th visit was required. The service was to include all chemicals, two filter cleanings, and debris cleanup. In reality, the pool cleared ~95% after the first visit, and by the second visit, the technician confirmed that the water chemistry was good and that no further visits were likely needed for the algae cleanup. In effect, the core scope of work was completed in 2 visits, not 4–5. During the second visit, the technician noted that the filter cartridges were very dirty. He cleaned them but mentioned they might need replacement and suggested that some portion of the service credit could potentially be applied toward replacement filters, subject to management approval. That seemed like a reasonable and fair approach. However, when I followed up with Aaron, he stated that the maximum adjustment he could offer was a $150 discount, despite: The work being completed in less than half the estimated visits No further algae treatment being required The original pricing being explicitly tied to visit count and effort A $150 reduction on a $750 service, given the significantly reduced scope, does not align with how the service was originally explained or priced. When pricing is structured around effort and number of visits, customers reasonably expect a proportional adjustment when that effort is materially lower. The technician himself were professional and effective. Unfortunately, the management’s handling of billing and fairness overshadowed the quality of the actual work. From a business standpoint, this felt shortsighted. Retaining a satisfied customer and preserving goodwill would have required a modest concession relative to the total service cost. Instead, a rigid stance over a small dollar amount resulted in the loss of future business and a negative customer experience. Long-term relationships matter, and in this case, short-term decision-making outweighed long-term trust. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Pristine Pools.
