We started having problems with our pool heater and then suddenly the old pump went out. I contacted Evan at Preferred Pool & Spa Repair and he put us on the schedule immediately. Anthony called on his way over and showed up on time. He was extremely knowledgeable. He knew exactly what was wrong and just as we suspected, the pump needed to be replaced. The heater could not be tested until the new pump was installed. Anthony returned a few days later and installation of the new pump was fast. He could finally check out the heater, which was the start of all these problems. But, luckily, when he did, he found that the problem was that the pump wasn’t getting water to it. Turns out there’s nothing wrong with the heater after all! Seriously, I was expecting the worst. What a relief. I would definitely call Preferred Pool and Spa Repair again next time we need help. They were very fast, very knowledgeable, and honest. Three qualities we look for and value in a service company.

I requested a spa heater checkup. Evan and his crew were fast (next day), professional and efficient (2 hours) in their work, and now we have a hot spa again! He uses all of the best equipment on the market. Evan is very responsive and even helped with a follow up issue with the variable speed pump to resolve the jets not working properly. Thanks to Preferred Pool and Spa Repair, we will have a wonderfully working spa for our party this weekend!

Preferred Pool did an outstanding job of installing our new heater, filter, and controller. Evan was extremely helpful throughout the entire process, taking the time to answer all my questions and make sure I understood the operation and maintenance of the system. It’s clear they take pride in their work and care about doing things properly. Overall, they were excellent to work with – professional, friendly, and reliable. Highly recommend!
