I’ve been here 3 times and signed up for one of the wine clubs on my most recent visit. It’s crazy that they only have 36 reviews as of my writing and the last one was 7 months ago. While it’s a bit more hidden than the rest of the Vasco Row tasting rooms, it’s also one of the best. First off, the interior and overall ambiance are fantastic. Very comfortable seating and it’s nicely decorated (my picture doesn’t capture that properly). Then there’s the service; all of the employees that I’ve came across are very friendly and open to conversing with you about the wines or just anything really. They’re also not stingy if you ask to taste something before committing to it. And to round it out the wine itself is very high quality and reasonably priced. It’s a small tasting room, but the benefit is that you get more personalized service. It’s also within a quick walking distance from Altamont, Rivers End, Wood Family, Longevity, Steven Kent, etc.

A Sunday afternoon to remember at Omega Road Winery My fiancé, our 11-month-old son (yes, his first wine-tasting experience!), and I spent a Sunday afternoon with Alex and Nikki at Omega Road Winery in Livermore—and I simply can’t gush enough about it. From the moment we stepped in, the space felt warm, beautifully appointed, and quietly elegant in a way that invited us to relax, feel comfortable, and enjoy the moment. The décor blends rustic charm with thoughtful touches—wood-tones, comfy seating, subtle lighting—and it immediately set the tone for something more meaningful than just “another tasting.” Alex and Nikki greeted us like old friends, yet with that rare professional hospitality that makes you feel both special and at home. They took time to chat, to introduce us to the wines, and to share stories—without ever being pushy or staged. Their warmth and genuine enthusiasm for their craft shone through. I opted for the glass of Torrontés (which was luminous—bright, aromatic, crisp yet layered) and my fiancé chose the “Bold & Beautiful” flight of reds. The variety, depth and uniqueness of their local wines was impressive. We could see the care in every pour, discover flavors we didn’t expect, and feel proud that this gem is right here in Livermore. We were so taken that we purchased a membership on the spot—a decision we both felt was more than justified by the experience. What struck me most was how inclusive the experience felt—even with our little one in tow. There was no sense of “kids don’t belong,” just a welcoming environment where we could savor the moment, connect, and plan our return. Because yes—we will absolutely return, and we will bring others. This is a hidden piece of Livermore’s wine country that deserves to be discovered, shared and celebrated. Thank you Alex and Nikki for such a memorable afternoon. We look forward to many more. 🍷

I’m not super knowledgeable about wine other than I like it or not type thing, but every wine I’ve tried at Omega has been amazing! I love the team, the events are so fun, the community is great. I joined the membership on my second or third time here and am so happy I did!

Omega Road Winery is the gem in the Livermore wine tasting scene. They did a great job bringing their intimate wine tasting experience to an outdoor setting during COVID. Reservations can be made easily via their website. Alex, the owner, is super attentive and put her heart in making unique and well balanced wines. I highly recommend their 2016 syrah or Alicante Bouschet Rose. On a hot summer day, try their aromatic and silky Torontes.

We had a wonderful experience at Omega Road Winery. From the moment we arrived, the owners went above and beyond to make us feel like part of the family. Their genuine care and passion for what they do were evident in every interaction. They took the time to share the story behind each wine and made thoughtful recommendations based on our preferences. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making the tasting truly enjoyable. We left not only with great wine but also with fond memories. I highly recommend visiting here for an exceptional experience. Jeff & Haley
