The store itself is clean and it has a good selection, BUT* the customer service is horrible. I've visited 3 times in 2025 to get parachord, one time for a sewing repair kit and once to ask for a dremel tool for a home project, and every time there was his person named Zen who was very rude. When I asked if the store sold dremels, she not helpful in giving me a straight answer and was not helpful. She had a very passive aggressive tone of voice and a look of disgust and when I went to look around she kept on following me around as if I was stealing. A few weeks later I went in to buy parachord to make keychains and she did the same thing and started contorting her face as I was making a decision. The last interaction I had was a few months later when I needed to buy a sewing repair kit and she and a few staff started following me around after I asked to when I could find a sewing needle. There is a pattern of behavior at this store that is uncomfortable, unwelcoming and hostile. EVERYTIME* I've come in, Zen has gone out of her way to show I am unwelcome. I'm in retail management and I am aware of signs of people that are looking to steal, like refusing help and having dirty shoes, but I am asking for help and I was wearing professional clothes and business shoes, which leads me to believe Zen is either sexist, racist or both. It's a repeated pattern of behavior and I feel discriminated against. It's a shame since it's right next to Trader Joe's, I refuse to give my hard earned money to a store where I'm treated poorly.

Thank you Michaels and your lovely people! I did my daughter's 9th birthday party and everything was perfect! They decorated, I just brought the food and they handled all the activities. Amazing service!

I came here because I needed new price labels for my crochet apparel, and Michael's had a nice selection for me to choose from. This store was clean and quiet. The shelves were organized and clean. The staff was professional and checking out was a breeze. I liked how they were having a large clearance sale along with other sales

Good selection of arts & crafts products. The store is always clean and well organized and it's usually way less busy than the Dublin location. Also they have self checkout!

The employee that works at Michaels store Livermore, by her name Zenny or Zen( she was very zen yesterday).. ohh... Lord give me patience!!! went yesterday in to pick up an order, sadly she was in charge to look for the package but she couldn't find it, I spelled my last name couple of times to make sure she gets it, couldn't find it in the corner where was supposed to be, she went in the back to check for it but before she said " sometimes you just get notifications saying that is was delivered but it was actually not"... when she came back she said the package is not here and I was shocked told her to make sure she looks one more time and she just walked away.... I followed her and said that she should be more polite and not just walk away... she didnt care at all. I went outside and called the sender and she said that the package was delivered and she gave me the name of the person who signed for it, I went back in the store and try to talked to her, she called the person (cause I told her the name who signed for it) when the person who signed for it looked for the package OBVIOUS SHE FOUND IT AND HANDED TO THE ZEN PERSON which she was SO SHOCKED. Anyway she needs a little more training on how to deal with clients.
