GoogleLongevity Wines is our favorite find of 2026 so far!! It totally exceeded our expectations! Don’t be fooled by its exterior. Longevity Wines are located in an industrial building in an unremarkable location. However, one step inside, you will be transported outside with its barn theme and spacious tasting space! Our jaws were dropped and we vowed to never judge a book by its cover again LOL We got a Groupon for wine tasting for 2 with 2 charcuterie boxes. That’s why we drove to Livermore to visit this tasting room. We were blown away for sure! As soon as we walked in, staff Tammy greeted us and let us pick our seating spot. This tasting room opens at 1pm and we were their first customers. However, it was filled up fast. Tammy greeted everyone and it seemed like they were all returning customers. Though the tasting room got crowded later, we all had our own spaces and privacy and the entire experience felt very intimate. We love the outdoor and barn vibe! Occasionally we forgot that we were inside. Tammy slowly introduced us to a flight of 6 for our wine tasting. She explained the wine itself, how it was made and its origin. Out of the 6 wines that we tried, we loved the Cabernet Franc from Dublin the best! It’s so light, oaky and has a nice finish :) Each of us got our own charcuterie boxes which were made fresh and delivered the day of from Pleasanton, according to Tammy. So everything felt extra special because they were sourced locally. One thing that touched us the most was that Tammy, though being very busy herself, took time to sit down and chat with us. She told us about the history behind heart logo and the touching story of the owners Phil and Debra. That Phil had the tattoo of the heart logo on his arm so that he felt Debra’s presence with him. Debra passed away due to cancer a few years ago. Our pup Butter also had a wonderful time being at home here at the tasting room. We will definitely be back soon!

GoogleIf you aren't familiar with Longevity Wines, do yourself a favor and pay this little urban Vineyard a visit. I reckon you will be impressed with the talent of Phil, winemaker...extraordinaire. Phil has that rare gift; the ability to craft some brilliant wines with what's available. I haven't tasted a better domestic Barbera, Grenache, Mourvedre or Tempranillo from anywhere else! Especially from one winemaker under one roof! Keep in mind I said DOMESTIC...in most cases local as well! These varietals rotate on a regular basis and aren't always available. I'm always hopeful that some of the aforementioned varietals are available whenever I pay them a visit. Then there are the classics like the brilliant Bordeaux style blend Deb-ru-vée, Phil-osophy or Preston. Long story short, I discovered Longevity on accident. It was the last stop on a Livermore wine tasting tour. Oddly enough everything we tried was good! I had to return on another day; in a better, more alert state of mind and try every thing again. Annnddd...the only thing I got was confirmation of our previous journey!! Everything was brilliant! Over the years Longevity expanded their tasting room, added regular events on the weekends and grew operations to offer their wines nationwide. A tribute to their success while some of their neighbors shut their doors! Needless to say...I'm a fan! err...a Vino!
