I wish you could give a zero star rating. Went in for warped brake rotors and an exhaust leak at the manifold due to a sheared/stripped bolt that holds the manifold to the engine. The exhaust leak at the manifold also caused an annoying ticking sound. Not too long after, the ticking was back and I had gone to Les Schwab for a brake inspection. They informed me I still had warped rotors and replaced them for me. This finally fixed the shaking when using the brakes. I tore into the exhaust problem myself only to find that Livermore auto and tire had shoddily put the broken bolt back into the stripped out hole that was causing the exhaust leak/ticking sound. Almost $1500 worth of parts and labor for absolutely nothing. Don is also a little rude and spoke to me as if I knew nothing as I described the issues with my truck to him. I have included images of both work orders from Livermore auto and tire and Les Schwab, the failing exhaust gasket, the broken bolt, and the still stripped hole with the end of the broken bolt still in it! If they had actually done the work this bolt would’ve been thrown away and I wouldn’t have it.

I have had both my Toyota Prius and Jaguar XJR services here for oil changes, alignment and smog. Very convenient downtown location right around the corner from my office. They always do great work at very reasonable prices. I highly recommend this shop for your auto services.

Don is amazing. I called him at 8 a.m. with a water pump failure. They knew i needed it fast so I could continue on my travels. They got me in immediately and had called me by 1p.m. with the diagnosis. They had it taken care of fast. Even knowing I had little options they gave me, what I believe and what Google had quoted, a good price and had me on my way. If you need mechanical help in Livermore, CA try Livermore Auto & Tire. I am super impressed and I believe you will be as well.

I cannot say enough good things about this business. Don is extremely trustworthy. He has been taking care of our fleet for many years now and has done such a good job keeping our vehicles on the road! Thank you!!!

The worst auto repair service I've ever had. These people have Zero respect for your time, they had zero communication. Even though I was there since 8:00 AM they put me last in the queue for some reason, so I waited for 8 hours just to get 1 tire replaced . Every time I called the owners, they seemed rude and appeared to be mocking me and the situation of me having a flat tire. If you're going to have a car service shop, you need to be nice to customers. They were extremely rude and not welcoming (racist ?). On top of that, my car was moved out to the street with the windows down so that anyone walking by could easily steal my belongings inside the car. Very dissatisfied with the experience.
