Google⸻ Cinema 13 – Livermore (Auditorium 2, July 20, 2025, 7:00 PM) ⭐️ 1 out of 5 I went to see the Superman movie at Cinema 13 in Livermore with my pregnant wife and niece, and it was one of the most uncomfortable and frustrating movie experiences we’ve had. Unbearably Hot Theater There was no air conditioning in the auditorium. It was so hot that I was sweating the entire time — and more importantly, it caused real stress to my pregnant wife. A movie theater should be a place of comfort, not a health risk. For what they charge, working AC is the bare minimum. Poor Seating Design The seats don’t recline and have no leg rest. Even worse, the back of the seat is spring-loaded, so unless you constantly push back, it snaps upright. It was nearly impossible to relax or enjoy the film. Overpriced, Low-Quality Concessions We paid $30 for just two sodas and a popcorn, and the Coca-Cola was completely flat. When I asked about combo options (not discounts), the staff rudely dismissed me, saying, “It doesn’t matter — no discounts.” Multiple employees were grouped at the front, uninterested in helping or explaining anything. Overall: Hot, overpriced, uncomfortable, and rude service. This experience was unacceptable, especially considering the price tag. We won’t be returning until Cinema 13 addresses its customer service and basic facility maintenance.

GoogleManagement....please read this! Went on a date with my wife last night to 730pm showing of "Rental Family" in theater 9. The sound system was horrible during the early trailers and I was hopeful that it would cut over to better speakers for the movie...especially since the screen did some big full screen "Dolby Atmos" notification as the movie was starting. 1: sound system is obviously blown and audio garbled. Get some professional resources in there to evaluate, not an employee making popcorn. Invest some time and care into your product and presentation. I walked out as it was so bad. 2. Disappointed to see other reviews in same thing a month ago? What the hell? Close theater 9 until it's fixed or offer a disclaimer to patrons. This is just poor business to keep selling tickets with a known issue that you said you'd look into. 3. To me, this feels like your revenue in theater 9 is more important than doing the right thing. Simply embarrassing I'm including an image from last night as I walked out...plus the review i found this morning for the same issue.

GoogleStaff was friendly and helpful. Theater 8 had uncomfortable seats as the recliner leg rests do not have padding. Plus the wall in front of the seats cuts off the lower part of the screen. I’m not sure if all the theaters are the way.

GoogleMy wife and I used to love this theater but the past few visits were not great. Starting with the good - The staff is still very friendly and the theater is clean. They say they have electronic reclining seats and ACTUALLY have them! Where things have started falling short though is in the last 3 movies we’ve gone to in the past 6 months. One movie, the theater was so cold my wife and I huddled up and even pulled our arms inside our T-shirts and up over our mouths to try and capture our warm breath. I went to the lobby and complained and was told someone would fix it, but no one did. We joked with several other couples about how we could hang meat! The next time, the theater was so hot that we were sweating. Same thing, went and complained and got promised they would fix it. The funny thing is the guy at the front desk bragged that they had just gotten their A/C fixed that week! The last time, just 4 days ago, the theater was warm but worse, the sound was awful! The sound only came from the center channel at the screen and sounded like the speaker was blown - crackling at certain frequencies. I complained that it wasn’t loud enough and that none of the surround speakers were working. The guy I spoke to said he would take care of it… maybe, maybe, he turned up the volume a bit, but when you have to wonder, it isn’t enough. And still only sound from the center speaker. It’s a shame because this is my favorite theater in the area. My wife is thinking we stop going to this theater because of the consistently bad recent experiences.
