GoogleDonating food here is incredibly easy! If you’re moving, clearing out a home or office, or have food expiring soon, this is a great place to bring it, and you can clearly see who your donation is helping. I was initially worried about what food they accept and whether I needed an appointment, but the process couldn’t be simpler. Anything unopened and unexpired is accepted. I donated cases of Soylent, energy drinks, peanut butter, and boxed tea, and everything was taken without hesitation. No appointment or call is needed—just come by between 1 PM and 4 PM. Reney, the pantry manager, greeted me and helped me immediately and handled all the paperwork. You also receive a donation receipt for tax purposes, which is a nice bonus for food that would otherwise go to waste. The entire donation took about 5 minutes total, with no line. The staff was very friendly and explained how the pantry operates and where the food goes, which made the experience feel welcoming and well-organized. For parking: the small lot in front can be tight, but there’s plenty of parking in the lot behind the building, which made unloading easy. If you’re deciding where to donate food and want a fast, efficient, and well-run operation with minimal friction that helps real people immediately, I’d highly recommend donating here first!

GoogleThe staff of Tri-Valley Haven Food Pantry are very generous, and provide all food and nutrition needed at no cost. It's great to see that they help for those who are in need. Overall, it's a great place. Note that some nourishment products that they provide may have passed their expiration dates.

GoogleThey are very kind and generous. They give you the time needed to select the food with an individual who works with you all the way. Sadly there are those who cut in line and use the state of confusion when tickets are issued to jump into top 10 rather than them being ticket or position in line as 30 or worse

GoogleYou need to get there early. They only give out 50 tickets to get food a day.
