Decided to write a review about this particular Fitness 19. I started to workout here on a weekly basis a little over a year and a half ago. My work is only about ten minutes away from here so I hit up this gym after work. Not too much complaints at this gym. The machines are always up and working along with being clean. There is a nice open area on the side to do floor work etc. People are usually good about putting weights back so it helps keep the gym well balanced. The gym itself is not that big so I feel they do their best to do use the space the best way they can. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Everyone is pretty chill here even with all the high school kids that come in after 4pm during the week which happens to be the time I drop in after my work is done. As someone else mentioned maybe the bathroom area needs to be a little cleaner/more well kept. Other than that this is a comfortable location for me to workout in so thank you Fitness 19 for creating a nice atmosphere!

Love the Livermore location for lots of reasons. 1. Very pleasant staff - they always greet with a smile and are very helpful. 2. The gym equipment is new, plenty of cardio equipment available, the facility is clean, and i have also witnessed servicing of equipment (and am yet to find a machine that is out of service.🎉 3. bathrooms are clean, and lockers are available for use. 4. Love that sanitizing wipes are available to clean equipment. Bravo team…. Keep maintaining the high standard!

I joined Fitness 19 end of December 2025, and my overall experience thus far is pretty good. I think this is probably the best gym in town, and I recently upgraded my membership to the lifetime membership. Great gym overall. I actually switched over from the 24 Hour Fitness since Fitness 19 does a way better job with gym cleanliness and equipment maintenance. I really appreciate the Fitness 19 staff for taking any issues I bring up to them very seriously, whether it be equipment issues, water machine filter replacements, or bathroom cleaning. They do a great job of addressing anything I bring up to them quickly. I really like that the gym equipment is very well maintained. The only reason I'm not giving the gym a 5-star review is because the men's locker-room/bathroom is dated and slightly gross. Not saying it's unusable, and anytime I find something I don't like in there and report it to staff, they do a great job addressing it (e.g. toilet clogs, shower messes, etc.) However, if the owner of this gym would consider remodeling the locker-room/bathroom, the gym could be elite. My suggestions are: (1) new lockers and maybe like vinyl faux wood flooring; (2) industrial toilets contrary to standard home toilets; most importantly (3) curtains in the shower area for separation and new shower heads, since only one of the four shower heads actually has good pressure. As is, the gym itself is quite decent - most important aspect is the equipment is great and well maintained. But if we could renovate the locker-room/bathroom, it would push the gym to elite.

This company is deceitful and has contracts to bait and hook you. My son wanted to try out the gym. On line there was information to try out the gym for 30 days. At the top of the paperwork it says $0 enrollment fee, $0 1st months fee and $0 due today. The site says to cancel anytime, but what they don’t tell you is that you have to pay to cancel. My son tried to cancel and they are charging a $75 cancellation fee. The manger I spoke to said his hands are tied and it is in the contract. Paragraph after paragraph of small print finally states this. The manager then tried to give my son a life lesson about reading the fine print. Tried to contact the District Manager from the contact they gave and it just goes to voicemail. Very unsatisfied with how Fitness 19 handled my son’s situation. Hoping to be contacted soon.

I used to really enjoy this gym—great equipment, solid environment, and it always felt like a place to focus and recharge. But ever since the renovations started last week, it’s been a different story. The newly installed blue ceiling lights might be intended for aesthetics, but they’re honestly annoying. The kinda harsh, fluorescent glow is a bit intense—eye-straining to the point of giving me a headache every single visit. What was once a motivating space now feels more like a migraine trigger. I really hope they reconsider the lighting design, because it’s made the experience noticeably worse. I might have to find another gym soon.
