GoogleI photographed an engagement session at Brushy Peak Regional Preserve, and it was absolutely worth the visit. The couple and I hiked about 10 minutes up a hill to reach the overlook, and the payoff was incredible — stunning views and the most beautiful golden light. If you’re up for a walk, this location offers amazing scenery and a perfect backdrop for photos. Highly recommend for sunset sessions!

GoogleVery nice trail, everything was green when I went in January. Parking was good and there were not many people on the trail. It is steep in some areas so I would recommend some hiking shoes and hiking sticks.

GoogleNice little Hike with the family and dogs, beautiful views, they have a restroom as well and parking lot, no water to wash hands, other than that, beautiful place.

GoogleGreat hiking spot, beautiful park! There are beautiful views of Tri-Valley and Livermore Valley once you hike up a little bit, if you keep going, you can also see Sunol Peak, Mission Peak, and Mt. Allison in the distance. Please note that this place only has 1 bathroom (1 pit toilet), the bathroom here have no running water, and there is only a spigot for untreated water nearby. Make sure to bring hand washing water and drinking water with you. The park will be very crowded on the weekends, but there are places to park along the road.

GoogleHighly recommend! We went there on Feb 8, still a bit chilly with green everywhere after rainy weeks. We had a great time with very few visitors on a Saturday afternoon. Good signal and amazing view.
