GoogleThis was our first visit to Bent Creek Winery, but not our last. We were fortunate to visit on a day of a new Petite Sirah release for members & live music by Toucan Jam. We were offered a tasting of a nice Chardonnay upon arrival and sat outside at a shaded table next to the vineyard and an olive tree Wine was available for a tasting or by the glass or the bottle. Food was available at an outdoor tent to take to the table. Rex was our server. He helped us select a lovely wine and was a wonderful, friendly host throughout our visit. Recommended.

GoogleBent Creek is in a beautiful location. The staff are all so welcoming and attentive. The wine was enjoyable, but some that I wanted to like didn't do much for me. I would definitely go back and try another tasting when the list changes.

GoogleIf you live in the Tri-Valley area, you don’t have to drive up to Napa or Sonoma to enjoy a wonderful weekend afternoon in California Wine Country. Bent Creek is a gem in Livermore Wine Country and you can only visit Saturday or Sunday. It is nice to visit a “mom and pop” winery where you get to talk to the owners as they pour you wine and take you on a guided tour of their winery’s wine making process. There is a $10/ pp wine tasting fee which will get you to sample ALL of Bent Creek Winery’s wines and ports. Give yourself time to be here because for your $10 that will get 13 pours! And on top of this, your $10 wine tasting fee can be used as a credit to whatever you purchase here, which the prices are very reasonable to purchase award winning wines & ports. You can bring your own picnic and sit under the trees, umbrellas, covered patios or grassy lawns while sipping. If you don’t have food, Bent Creek does provide crackers and water to cleanse your palette between pours. The owners, retired from Lawerence Livermore Lab and Livermore school teachers, live on the property and are happy to chat as with their equally friendly staff about how they make their wines and ports. Kid friendly, Dog Friendly, Accessibility Friendly — Bent Creek Winery welcomes the whole family. Free parking too!

GoogleApart from the tranquil vibe, welcoming host, and unpretentious ambiance, the wines are delicious and you'll most likely be taking a couple bottles home. Fair warning, you'll likely forget about the big label wineries you might have stopped at on the way. We liked all the wines we tasted here, especially the Red on red blend, petit syrah, and Zin port. We ended up buying a few bottles here and joined the wine club. The Red on Red didn't taste quite the same as it did at the winery, which was puzzling. Sue our host was great! She was welcoming, friendly and encouraged us to take our time, which we enjoyed on a quiet Friday.
